AVTRIP Goes Platinum: Avfuel Revamps Industry's Favorite Loyalty Program with Tiers

ORLANDO, Fla. / October 28, 2016 / GENERAL AVIATION NEWS– AVTRIP—the industry’s favorite loyalty program—just got a lot more rewarding for its members. Avfuel Corporation announced the pilot loyalty program will incorporate tiered rewards beginning in 2017.

The program will place members into one of three tiers—silver, gold or platinum—at the beginning of 2017 based on their historical data on fuel taken and FBOs visited. In the base silver tier, pilots will earn rewards as they are currently accustomed—a minimum of two points per gallon at all AVTRIP awarding locations.

AVTRIP Members can move up tiers in one of two ways: by taking more fuel at participating locations, or by visiting more unique AVTRIP-awarding FBOs. Every member’s status will be reassessed each calendar year. “We’re always listening to our pilots, and we heard that they want more ways to earn,” said Marci Ammerman, Avfuel vice president of marketing. “This enhancement is just one way we’re fulfilling this wish. We’re also constantly increasing the number of locations at which pilots can earn points as well as the ways in which they can earn points. In the end, this supports both our pilots with more rewards and our Chain of Independent FBOs with a more compelling tool to sell fuel and attract business.”

Most notably, members can now earn points at six new key airports with Ross Aviation and on car reservations with Go Rentals.
