Boyle started at Avfuel Corporation in January 2010 as part of the sales team responsible for a select customer group. He was quickly promoted to sales manager within eight weeks and was promoted to director of contract fuel in December 2014. His fast-track career came as executives noticed his advanced leadership skills—honed as a field artillery officer in the United States Army after attending the United States Military Academy at West Point where he was also captain of the hockey team.

During his tenure in the Army, Boyle was twice deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. While deployed, his primary role was working closely with US and Iraqi leadership, targeting opportunities to improve the quality of life and physical infrastructure for the Iraqi citizens in his area of operation. His leadership in the Army made Boyle uniquely capable to lead his colleagues at Avfuel and contributed to his swift rise in the company.

In his position, Boyle supports more than 4000 flight departments who rely on contract fuel and its many services, as well as the expansion of fueling locations who offer Avfuel Contract Fuel. Additionally, Boyle provides professional sales development—from training and mentoring his team, to helping them grow and adapt to the industry.

Under Boyle’s leadership, the number of contract fuel salespeople has grown to 20 people around the world who personally connect with flight departments in strategic territories. In the past four years, Boyle and his team have expanded Avfuel’s international presence and seen more than a 100 percent growth in contract fuel volume.
