Avfuel Offers Attendees Opportunity to Spin Through Its Network at BACE

LAS VEGAS / October 12, 2021 / AVIATION NEWS – Avfuel’s headed back to Las Vegas for NBAA-BACE with a strong network presence in booth 945, connecting attendees to 24 co-exhibiting FBO companies*, a complete portfolio of aviation solutions from sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to trip planning, and an opportunity to participate in rewarding activities.

“The Avfuel team is incredibly excited to be face-to-face at NBAA-BACE,” said Marci Ammerman, Avfuel’s vice president of marketing. “We are thrilled to connect attendees to our premier network of branded FBOs—both the 24 companies that are in the booth and the 650+ in the Avfuel Network we’re here to represent. Our team couldn’t be more thankful that our FBO partners chose to join us in the Avfuel booth, representing the strength of the Avfuel Network: strength in both the breadth of locations and in the level of service we’re able to provide together.”

Convention attendees visiting the Avfuel booth will have the opportunity to visit with Avfuel-branded FBOs to learn more about their unique, independent operations, as well as chat with Avfuel’s broad array of experts. In the booth, attendees can learn more about: Avfuel’s sustainability initiatives, including SAF, book and claim, carbon offsetting, and unleaded avgas; Avfuel’s Network of 650+ branded FBOs and 3,000+ global contract fuel locations; trip support and flight planning services; risk management solutions; government/military services; and commercial/cargo solutions.

As attendees cycle through the Avfuel Network in the booth, they also have the opportunity to participate in the Spin to Win giveaway. After registering in the Avfuel booth and scanning the QR code at 10 co-exhibiting FBOs, attendees can spin the digital wheel for a chance to win a Peloton bike, Apple Watch, AirPods, gift cards or a $15 donation to Stripes to Bars—a non-profit that enables qualified veterans to earn FAA certificates.

While attendees take a spin through the booth, they can see cycle trainers riding on a demonstration Peloton bike throughout the show—but it’s not just for show. Avfuel will make an additional donation to Stripes to Bars based on energy output from the Peloton’s use. Measured by kilojoules, Avfuel pledges to donate $1 for each kilojoule produced during the three-day show. Guests can participate by hopping on the bike and taking it for a (stationary) spin themselves.

To further promote connectivity, Avfuel is hosting two in-booth happy hours along with Fly Louie to close out the show on Tuesday (4 – 6 p.m.) and Wednesday (3 – 5 p.m.). Avfuel and Fly Louie will serve up Champagne and beer to further connect peers on the show floor.

Of course, Avfuel staff—40 team members from sales, marketing, the executive team, supply, Avplan Trip Support and Avsurance—will be on hand to represent the Avfuel Network and to handle any request surrounding what Avfuel does best: fuel supply and services.

“Despite the challenges we’ve all faced the last year and a half, Avfuel’s team has worked diligently to improve and launch new services for our broad customer-base,” said Joel Hirst, Avfuel’s senior vice president of sales. “We’re eager to hit the show floor and share our comprehensive capabilities with attendees, listening to their needs and connecting them to the solutions that can help their operations thrive. That’s the Avfuel difference—connecting on a personal level. It’s that difference that’s allowed us to add 47 branded FBOs to the network since 2020, providing for a richer experience when flying and fueling within the Avfuel Network.”
