AVFUEL NETWORK REWARDS PROGRAM GUIDELINES
The AVFUEL® Network Rewards Program (the “Network Rewards Program”) is a program offered exclusively by AVFUEL CORPORATION (“Avfuel”) to enrolled individuals (each a “Participant”). A Participant must be an employee of an FBO who is branded with Avfuel Corporation.
An account is established for each Participant (a “Network Account”); points are awarded to that Participant's Network Rewards Account ("Network Points") based on Participant's involvement in Network Reward activities as established by Avfuel. As of the last day of the calendar year, the awarded Network Points are redeemed into cash at the rate of $25.00 for each group of 5,000 Network Points (each a "Network Award") in the Participants Network Account.
Under the general provisions of the Network Rewards Program, a Participant will be awarded two hundred Network Points for each unique referral made to another participating FBO using the web-based referral system located on www.avfuel.com. Program guidelines may vary and are subject to change as posted at avfuel.com.
As of the last day the calendar year, after posting Network Points awarded as of that date, a $25 Award will be awarded for each group of 5000 Network Points in the Participant’s Account, the Network Points that were converted into Network Awards will be subtracted from the Participant’s Network Account as of that date, any residual Network Points in the Participant’s Network account will be rolled over for the computations for the next calendar Period.
If an email communication that we have sent to the Participant is undeliverable , we will mark the email address as invalid and cease sending communications. If the participant does not correct his or her email address within four consecutive quarters after being marked as invalid, then Network Points will not be awarded again to that Participant's Network Account until the quarter in which the Participant updates that address. Network Awards will never be processed and sent when the email address is marked as an invalid email address.
Network Points:
To earn Network Points, the Participant must utilize the online Network Referral System hosted on www.avfuel.com. Except for certain authorized programs, Network Points may not be transferred between Network Accounts and may not be pooled or combined with the Network Points of other Participants or conveyed by any means to anyone, including through a Participant’s estate or as part of a domestic relations matter, and may not pass to Participants’ successors and assigns. Network Points do not constitute property of the Participant and have no monetary value. Further details about specific authorized programs and procedures may be obtained by written request to Avfuel.
Network Points may only be awarded on Part 91 and Part 135 flights. Network Points will be earned when referrals are provided in good faith to operators who were not already planning to use an Avfuel Branded FBO at their next stop and only for a unique flight (Participant has not already put in a referral for that city pair for that aircraft operator). Network Points may not be earned on scheduled shuttles between 2 Avfuel branded FBO locations. Network Points may not be used for operators returning to home base. If there is a FBO owned flight department or charter company, these flights are not eligible for Network Points for the employees of that FBO. Revised 12/19/22
Avfuel will post Network Points to the appropriate Network Accounts on the date Avfuel processes the transaction. After the close of each calendar quarter, Avfuel will provide an online statement for each Network Account of the Network Points earned and recorded as of the end of that quarter. Participants are responsible for reviewing these statements. Any discrepancies or missing Network Points must be reported to Avfuel within 45 days after the statement date. Any points that are not applied to a Network Account due to an incorrect account number shall be void 12 months after the date of referral. If Network Points are identified within the 12 month period, the Network Points will be posted to the account as of the date they are identified and processed.
Network Points earned in a Participant’s valid, active Network Rewards Account will be paid to the Participant (or other party or parties designated by the Participant in writing) after the close of the calendar year. The Network Points will be issued under the Participant’s name (or other if the Participant has designated other parties to receive the Network Points), and sent as directed by Participant to the Participant’s designated debit card, Venmo or Paypal account using the information provided by the Participant. The Participant will be responsible for keeping email addresses and payment selection and payment handling information current for that purpose, as Avfuel will not be responsible for any loss or theft after Network Points are distributed to the Participant’s designated accounts.
If a Participant has an Invalid email address on file with Avfuel, the Participant’s Network Rewards Account will be deemed inactive and Network Points in the Participant’s Network Rewards Account will not be converted to an award unless and until such time as a valid, current email address has been provided to Avfuel, provided that the Participant’s involvement in the Network Rewards Program has not been terminated (as described below) prior to such time, these Awards will then be issued at the end of the next calendar year following the email address update.
If a Participant has provided inaccurate debit, PayPal or Venmo information and the award is not able to be properly deposited into the Participant’s account, the Network Rewards payout will be cancelled after 120 days and the Account will be marked as having incorrect payment handling information: the Network Points applied to that cancelled Award will be returned to the Participant’s Network Rewards Account prior to the end of the next calendar year for that Participant's Network Rewards Account; and no Network Awards will thereafter be made to the Participant until such time as valid account information has been provided to Avfuel.
Avfuel will not be responsible for returning funds to Participants who have provided inaccurate account information leading to the deposit of funds into an incorrect account. The Participant must refer to Visa Global, PayPal and Venmo’s specific measures and recommendations to recover incorrectly routed funds just as if the customer had provided incorrect payment information directly on those platforms.
If, however, Avfuel is required to remit any undeliverable Network Award or the equivalent value thereof to the State of Michigan or any other state or jurisdiction under unclaimed property statutes, the Participant’s Network Account will be debited for the Network Points applicable to such Network Award.
Network Awards issued under the Network Rewards Program will be subject to applicable government regulations.
The Participant will be solely responsible for any and all taxes associated with the receipt of a Network Award and the Participant (and, if the Network Award is issued to another party at the Participant’s direction, the Network Award recipient) will indemnify Avfuel against any and all claims regarding taxes. If and as required by law, Avfuel will issue an IRS Form 1099 to any Participant earning a Network Award under the Network Program each year, regardless of whether the Network Award was issued to the Participant or to another person or entity at the Participant’s direction.
Avfuel reserves the right to terminate a Participant’s involvement in the Network Program if the Participant, (1) is no longer employed by a FBO who Is branded Avfuel, (2) misuses his/her Network Account, (3) provides false referral information, (4) breaches these Guidelines, (5) fails to maintain a valid address on file with Avfuel for twelve consecutive months or (6) fails to provide any referrals generating Network Points during any consecutive twelve-month period. If a Participant’s involvement in the Network Program is terminated for any of the foregoing reasons, all Network Points in that Participant’s account will be cancelled and not converted into a Network Award.
Avfuel reserves the right to terminate the Network Rewards Program at any time upon written notice to all Participants. If the Network Rewards Program is terminated by Avfuel, then the date for calculation of the Network Awards will be accelerated to the effective date of termination of the Network Rewards Program and Avfuel will redeem all Network Points in a Participant’s Network Account as of that date.
Avfuel reserves the right to amend these Guidelines, in whole or in part, by written notice to all Participants or by posting new\ Guidelines on the Avfuel Website, www.avfuel.com. Such changes may affect Network Points already accumulated in Participants’ Accounts. All Network Points and Network Awards must be earned and used according to the terms and conditions of these Guidelines. Avfuel reserves the right to interpret and apply the policies and procedures contained in these Guidelines. All determinations by Avfuel shall be final and conclusive in each case. These Guidelines supersede all previously issued Guidelines.
Participation in the Network Rewards Program is voluntary and void where prohibited by law.
