ANN ARBOR, Mich. / April 23, 2018 / GENERAL AVIATION NEWS – FBOs in the Avfuel Network were recently honored as top-rated FBOs in the 2018 Aviation International News FBO Survey and Professional Pilot PRASE Survey, dominating the top positions in both reports.
In total, nearly 39 percent of the fuel-supplier branded FBOs in the top 10 percent and higher in the AIN survey are members of the Avfuel-branded Network—the highest percentage for represented fuel brands in this year’s survey. Receiving top marks in the fifth percentile are Avfuel-branded FBOs Sheltair Tampa (KTPA); Pentastar Aviation (KPTK); Fargo Jet Center (KFAR); and American Aero FTW (KFTW). Receiving top marks in the tenth percentile are Avfuel-branded FBOs Banyan Air Service (KFXE); Base Operations at Page Field (KFMY); and Million Air Addison (KADS).
Similarly, more than 45 percent of the fuel-supplier branded FBOs listed in PRASE’s Best U.S. FBOs list and 55 percent of the Best Independent FBOs are members of the Avfuel-branded Network—also the highest percentages for represented fuel brands in this year’s survey. Listed as Best U.S. FBOs are Avfuel-branded Pentastar Aviation (KPTK); Million Air Addison (KADS); Banyan Air Service (KFXE); Sheltair Tampa (KTPA); Vail Valley Jet Center (KEGE); Monterey Jet Center (KMRY); Base Operations at Page Field (KFMY); Naples Airport Authority (KAPF); Denver jetCenter (KAPA); and Sheltair Fort Lauderdale (KFLL).
