Skypark Airport (KBTF) Hosts 6th Annual Aviation Festival and Expo

WOODS CROSS, Utah / May 20, 2016 / GENERAL AVIATION NEWS – Avfuel-branded FBO Skypark Airport is gearing up to welcome thousands of visitors to its airport for the 6th Annual Skypark Aviation Festival and Expo on Friday, June 3 and Saturday, June 4.

As the largest annual aviation event in Utah, the festival brings in numerous aircraft manufacturers, flight schools, aviation organizations, vendors, food and more. This event—free and open to the public—attracted 5,000 attendees in 2015, and the airport is prepared to handle even more.

“We’re ready for an influx of people and expect to draw in an even larger crowd this year,” said Chris Volzer, Skypark Airport’s FBO manager. “The festival keeps getting bigger every year—we’ve sold out of exhibition space on the ramp and have only one indoor exhibition spot left. We’re very excited to offer fun attractions for our community and support an enthusiasm for aviation.”

The weekend’s tentative schedule of events includes various forums and presentations on Friday, including an FAA presentation on NextGen, followed by a RockitScience concert with food trucks and free giveaways. Saturday features a waffle breakfast, Lifeflight presentation, skydivers, Sorensen BF9-2 flyby and more.
