Avfuel Voted Best Fuel Brand and Best Fuel Credit Card In Annual PRASE Survey; Avfuel Network FBOs Claim Top Spots

ANN ARBOR, Mich. / April 19, 2016 / GENERAL AVIATION NEWS – Readers of Professional Pilot magazine voted Avfuel Corporation “Best Fuel Brand” in the publication’s annual Preferences Regarding Aviation Services and Equipment Survey for the tenth time in eleven years. In addition, voters recognized the Avfuel Pro Card as the industry’s “Best Aviation Fuel Credit Card.”

“The Avfuel team is truly humbled by the recognition of our industry’s pilots and operators,” said Marci Ammerman, Avfuel vice president of marketing. “The goal of the Avfuel Network is to provide enhanced connectivity for all segments of aviation. By remaining 100 percent dedicated to aviation, we’re able to provide our customers with an array of proven solutions to better serve their needs.”

Avfuel credits its branded FBO Network for its success—filled with dealers who share its dedication to superior services and solutions.

“The bottom-line: fuel is fuel,” said Ammerman. “It’s the other services a fuel supplier provides—the systems and programs—that differentiate one brand from the next. Along with dependable fuel supply and logistics, this is where Avfuel strives to excel. Our FBOs believe Avfuel systems are the right solutions for the industry, which is why they chose to join the Avfuel Network and promote those systems at their FBOs.”

Avfuel Network FBOs also claimed top spots in the FBO portion of the survey, receiving 40 percent of the top 10 “Best US FBOs” rankings and 40 percent of the ranked “Best Independent FBOs.”

In addition, Sheltair was recognized as no. 2 in the “Best Large FBO Chain” category for its 16 FBOs, all branded Avfuel, and Michael Heilpern of Monterey Jet Center was praised for his exceptional service, claiming the no. 3 spot for “Best Line Tech.”

With data from 1333 participants, FBO rankings are based on scores in six categories: Line Team, Customer Service Representatives, Facility, Amenities, Promptness/Efficiency, and Value for Price. The PRASE results were released shortly after the Aviation International News (AIN) FBO Survey, for which Tampa International Jet Center (KTPA), Fargo Jet Center (KFAR), XJet (KAPA), Banyan Air Service (KFXE) and Pentastar Aviation (KPTK) were ranked among the top five percent of FBOs in the country.

“We congratulate our Network FBOs who were recognized in both the Pro Pilot PRASE and AIN FBO surveys this year,” said Ammerman. “It’s a testament to their relentless dedication to service and we are proud to be associated with these stand-up establishments as partners in fuel supply.”

Complete results for PRASE will be published in the May 2016 issue of Professional Pilot. Continuous AIN FBO Survey results and 24/7/365 participation in the survey is available behind your AIN login at www.ainonline.com/fbosurvey.
