PENTASTAR AVIATION TEAMS WITH AVFUEL CORPORATION TO OFFER AVTRIP POINTS AT NEW VAN NUYS LOCATION (VNY)
ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN/ AVFUEL INDUSTRY NEWS/ Avfuel Corporation and Pentastar Aviation have teamed up to offer the AVTRIP Program at the newest Pentastar Aviation Fixed-Base Operation (FBO). As a member of the Avfuel family of dealers, Pentastar Aviation of California (PAOC) will receive marketing support and other business tools to help attract traffic to their ramp at the Van Nuys Airport. Under the AVTRIP Program, PAOC awards pilots with AVTRIP Points for each gallon of fuel they take on board. These Points accumulate toward valuable investments. To kick of the alliance, PAOC is offering double Points during the months of September and October of this year.
Pentastar is dedicated to continuing a steady expansion while providing the best products and services. Indeed, the newest location is staffed by professionals with extensive experience from the award-winning Pontiac facility (PTK). The decision to offer AVTRIP Points at the Van Nuys location reflects Pentastar's commitment to both passenger and pilot. This full-service FBO caters to business and leisure travelers with a wide array of services and amenities.
To accommodate customers during renovations, Pentastar is opening a high-end temporary facility designed for customer comfort and convenience, scheduled for completion in early fall, 2007. The luxury facility will include conference rooms, offices and comprehensive flight planning tools. Pilots and passengers alike will find what they are looking for either a haven from the busy day or a well-equipped space that permits optimal productivity. Conveniently situated on the northwest corner of the airfield at the end of the principal runway, POAC offers unequaled speed and ease of arrival and departure.
"Many FBOs are focused on serving a high volume of customers, but not with a high level of service," says Bob Sarazin, Director of FBO Services at Pentastar's corporate office. "At Pentastar, we focus on providing a consistent level of superior service." Sarazin reports that customer feedback at Van Nuys has been very positive.
"Our commitment is to the customer," agrees PAOC FBO manager, Jim Davis. "We are pro-active in handling customers -- we specialize in anticipating service requirements. That's what sets us apart from other FBO facilities." Davis also believes Pentastar excels in the competitive aviation market because it knows its customer base so well. "Being an aircraft operator gives us a unique advantage in understanding and responding to the requirements of the aircraft and its pilots," said Davis. "We know what the end-user expects because we are the end-user." Customers widely agree: Pentastar has been repeatedly rated by Professional Pilot and Aviation International News as one of the top FBOs in the country.
