AVFUEL LAUNCHES A NEW ONLINE PILOT COMMUNITY- AVCLUB

ANN ARBOR, MI/January 27, 2007/ Avfuel Corporation Industry News/ -- Avfuel, the leading independent supplier in the aviation fuel and services industry, has announced the web launch of its latest pilot incentive offering, AVCLUB.   The new online program for pilots debuted at www.avclubrewards.com on January 24, 2007, and aims to take a fresh approach to what contemporary pilots seek in an incentive program and online aviation community.   According to AVCLUB creators, membership has risen faster than projected.

The AVCLUB idea had its inception as a sophisticated extension of Avfuel's existing pilot incentive program, AVTRIP, in which pilots earn points toward Savings Bonds each time they refuel at participating fuel providers.  The distinction lies in the online venue itself and the creative activity-based promotions offered.  Pilots are awarded special awards and discounts, and the opportunity to play an ongoing real-time game in which they earn prizes and bonus AVTRIP points just for visiting certain events or locations, or being "spotted" by Avfuel secret shoppers. 

The AVCLUB program is based around the special steel luggage tag that the club distributes to members when they sign up for the free program.  Members who "tag their bag" are rewarded for showing of their affiliation with the club if they are spotted in the right place at the right time. 

"We wanted pilots to really get involved with AVCLUB, to have some fun and at the same time have access to a centralized bank of aviation information.  At AVCLUB, pilots can earn points, check the news, weather, aviation events, and even communicate with each other on industry issues," said Marci Ammerman, Director of Marketing at Avfuel Corporation.  She adds that members can manage both their AVCLUB and AVTRIP accounts at the new website.
