OUR HISTORY OF SERVICE

Our Unique Vantage Point
Avfuel Corporation enjoys a unique place in the business aviation marketplace that no one has quite duplicated. Our only business is aviation fuels and support services, and we're absolutely passionate about supporting this particular market niche.

Headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the company was founded in the early 1970's and has been under the leadership of Craig R. Sincock since 1984. During that time, Avfuel has grown from a regional focus of approximately eight states to currently servicing customers in fifty states, Canada, Mexico and Europe.

The Company's growth has been achieved through internal sales and acquisition. To date, Avfuel Corporation has acquired the aviation divisions of four publicly traded companies, as well as three mid-sized, privately held companies related to aviation fuels or services.

The Coast-to-Coast Leader
In 1988, Avfuel joined with Pride and extended its reach west of the Mississippi. A few smaller regional fuel companies were added over the next few years and in 1993, Triton was acquired and in 2001, half of Texaco's Aviation business was purchased . Avfuel's reach is now coast-to-coast with about 20% market share in terms of the number of FBOs (Fixed Base Operator - retail fuel operator on an airport) served as well as number of gallons sold.

Avfuel, which also aggressively builds its business one FBO at a time, added 60 FBO's to its client roster in 2005 and averaged a dealer a week in 2006. Avfuel is the leading independent supplier of aviation fuels and related support services in the US with more than 85% of company revenue derived from fuel sales and the remainder generated via other aviation-related services.

In 2002, we partnered with Cessna to create a Cessna Contract Fuel Card for operators of turbine powered Cessna aircraft which can be used throughout the Avfuel network.

100% Commitment to Aviation
"Our philosophy in growth has been one of listening to our customers," explains Sincock. "What differentiates us is that we're 100% involved in aviation and we try to take each component of what we do and excel in it. There is magic in how you do anything if you do it correctly, we try to do our business correctly."

In 1988, Avfuel formed AVTANK, a wholly owned subsidiary that engineers, leases, installs, insures and maintains aviation fuel tanks. In 1991, Avfuel formed Avsurance Corporation, another wholly owned subsidiary that provides property and casualty, liability and workers compensation insurance to the aviation industry.

Today, Avfuel's dealer network of 2500 aviation customers includes 700 branded Avfuel dealers with 150 premier AVNET outlets.
