All Sheltair FBOs Fully Operational Following Hurricane Irma

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. / September 13, 2017 / GENERAL AVIATION NEWS – The Sheltair team is thrilled to announce that all of its locations are now fully operational following the closures of its Florida and Georgia locations in the wake of Hurricane Irma. Sheltair thanks its customers for their patience and well-wishes during the activated hurricane plan, and further thanks its partners for making this challenging process as smooth as possible.

Of course, the implementation of special procedures would not have been possible without the around-the-clock efforts of Sheltair's dedicated employees throughout its network--it is only through their efforts  the company was able to resume operations so swiftly.

In addition, its relationship with Avfuel kept Sheltair locations supplied with the necessary fuel to evacuate passengers and planes, keep tanks heavy, receive traffic in its New York locations looking to escape Irma, and resume operations throughout Florida and Georgia to serve their customers' fueling needs.

Sheltair's thoughts and prayers go out to all those still experiencing the hardships of both Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. The team hopes that its return to normal operations can help facilitate continued relief from the sky. To make a reservation for any of Sheltair's 17 FBOs, please visit www.sheltairaviation.com.
